2. Is Scrapbook Central a secure site?

Yes. Our whole site is secured by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. This is an advanced technology that encrypts all of the information you send us in your online order (this includes all of your personal information such as your name, address, credit card number, etc.) so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. That means you will have a safe shopping experience with us, without having to worry about your credit card and personal information being compromised. We want you to feel confident when ordering from Scrapbook Central, and we are doing everything we can to operate a secure site. To ensure that you are accessing our secure server when placing your order, look at the bottom of your browser window. You should see a closed lock or unbroken key icon (depending on your browser). If you see either of these icons, then SSL is active. If you have any other questions concerning site security, please contact us to resolve your concerns.

3. Will I have to pay GST on my order?

All prices shown on our website include the 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). If you are ordering from, and for a delivery, outside Australia, the GST rate of 10% will not apply.

4. Can I save items to order at a later date?

Yes. You may save your cart and return within 7 days to complete your shopping. After 7 days the cart is automatically deleted. If you wish to save individual items, you can use the Wish List option.

5. Do you have any minimums?

No. However, the % of shipping cost will be higher with smaller $ orders.

6. What type of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Pay Pal.

7. How do I check out?

After adding items to your cart, click on the View Shopping Cart button in the upper right of your screen. This will take you to your cart. Make sure everything in the cart is correct and click the Checkout button. Enter your Billing Information, Shipping Address and credit card information. Make sure to include your email address so we can send you tracking information. Click the Submit Order button. Once your payment is approved you will return to our site to view your invoice. Please make sure to print a copy of the invoice for your records. You will also receive a copy of your order by email. Another email will be sent when your order is shipped. All emails from us will come from sales@scrapcentral.com.au. Please make sure to add this address to your contact list so it doesn't go to your junk mail.

8. Will I get an email confirmation of my order?

Yes. To ensure our emails get to your inbox, please add sales@scrapcental.com.au to your address book.

9. I am having trouble clicking to the next page or loading my cart?

If you are having trouble clicking to the next page in the shopping cart, or if your page keeps coming up saying "shopping cart empty", or "an error occurred please restart shopping" this may be caused by your 'cookies' have been set to 'off'. To place an order on our website, your browser needs to be able to accept cookies. If you do not feel comfortable modifying your browser to accept cookies, please feel free to e-mail us for assistance, stating the browser name and version you are using (click on the “Help” menu top left and then select “about” for the details).

10. What is a Cookie?

A "cookie" is a small text file that your browser keeps on your hard disk, and is very common on the Internet. They are a way for us to remember who you are. Cookies cannot contain a virus and are often used by a web server as your ID or to remember what you looked at last. You get the cookie on your first visit to the site. Afterwards that site can read the cookie to identify a user. Cookies also allow us to "remember" what you put in your shopping trolley as you browse through our product selection. However, you can still browse our products and use many of our site features without cookies.

11. How do I check the status of my order?

You will receive an email with a copy of your order and your order number once you have placed your order. When your order is shipped we also send you another email with all shipping details including consignment number. Please contact us with your Order Number if you believe there has been some delay in receiving your order.

12. How do you handle Out of Stock Items?

Scrapbook Central tries to ensure we have ample stock of all products available at all times. However, it is sometimes impossible to predict demand and unforeseeable delivery delays from suppliers. This occasionally leads to some items being out of stock.

All orders are filled on a first come, first served basis. It is possible that you may place an item in your shopping cart as it is in stock but when it is processed for shipment it is out of stock. While we make every effort to have sufficient quantities available of all products to prevent this from occurring, sometimes it is beyond our control.

If the of stock item is due to be replenished within three working days we will hold your order until the item is received before posting.

If the out of stock item is not expected within three working days, we will ship your order and you will need to re-order at a later date. Unfortunately due to the need for timely processing of all customer orders we are unable to hold back your order and advise you of any out of stock items prior to shipping.

Should any item on your order be out of stock, we will email you a coupon for free standard shipping off your next order. Your credit card will be refunded the value of the item not supplied.

13. Why is my Product different to the Image on your website?

We try to keep all our product images up to date. However, due to manufacturers changing product packaging, we can not guarantee the product we ship to you will be in the same package as pictured on our site. Please keep in mind that while the packaging may change, the product inside will be the correct item. In addition, we have tried to provide you with high quality images and descriptions of our products. Unfortunately, due to differences in computer monitors, as well as batch lots, colours of products may not be exactly the same as that displayed on your computer monitor or to previous items such as card stock.

14. Where do I get a coupon code?

From time to time, Coupons for Discounts, Free Shipping etc. are sent to our customers. If you have not ordered from us, but would like to receive coupons and product announcements, please join our mailing list. Please note only one coupon can be used at any one time when ordering (i.e. if you have a coupon for free shipping, it cannot be used with any other discount coupon).

15. How do I use a coupon code?

During check out enter the coupon code in the coupon box and click the button right next to it that says "Apply Coupon". This will apply a discount amount to your cart. If you don't see a discount by the subtotal you have either entered the coupon code wrong or have an invalid code or failed to click on the button that says "Add Coupon".

Only one coupon code can be applied to an order. It is your responsibility to enter the Coupon Code correctly when checking out. Orders will NOT be adjusted after processing if you "forget" to enter the code as above.

16. How do I use a Gift Certificate?

Using your gift certificate is easy. Just select the item(s) you want. When you have selected all the items you want, click on the CHECKOUT button. You can redeem your gift certificate by entering its Gift Number on the order form e.g.: Gift1010010-1234

17. What is your return policy?

Goods that have a manufacturing defect will be replaced or refunded if applicable at no charge provided:

  • Claims for faulty stock are reported to Scrapbook Central within three (3) days of the receipt of the order.
  • All claims must be approved for return prior to the return of the goods.
  • A copy of the relevant invoice must accompany returned items.
  • Returns must be in original package quantities. Part packages will not be accepted.

Please contact us via email for a return authorisation number that must be included with the returned merchandise and to arrange for a replacement or refund if applicable. Be sure to include your order number and e-mail address with any correspondence. Any item returned without a valid return authorisation number will not be processed and return shipping will be the customer’s responsibility.

Any item found not to be our product or not showing a manufacturing defect will not be accepted.

Please note: We do not accept returns sent COD.

18. What is your cancellation policy?

Once an order is shipped our return policy applies (see above). If an order is canceled and confirmed canceled by us prior to shipping there is a 10% cancellation fee that will be charged.

19. Do you sell wholesale?

We do not sell wholesale but do offer discounts on some bulk purchases. Please contact us to see if this option is available for your particular purchase.

20. Do you have a Clearance Range?

Yes we do. These are offered at a discount on our normal price and can be accessed from the shop menu. Please note the price shown on our website for these products is the discounted sale price.

21. What if I have a complaint?

We wish to provide you with 100% satisfaction. However, should you experience a concern or problem, please contact us immediately by e-mail so that we may take prompt corrective action on our part.

22. Do you have a catalogue?

Our web store as a virtual catalogue with products images, price and description. A printed catalogue would be too expensive and difficult to maintain given the range of products and regular updates required.
